TMG Annual Summit in São Paulo Brazil
The Montreal Group had the pleasure of hosting its Annual Summit from September 14th to 18th, 2024, in São Paulo, Brazil.
Topics included:
– TMG activities updates: Progress on Key Topic Groups and Members’ Area initiatives for knowledge-sharing and innovation.
– A member roundtable: Sharing of recent achievements and current challenges that fed into a “Solutions Blitz” session where members brainstormed potential solutions to common challenges.
– Updates on sustainability-related research: Presentations on decarbonization solutions and sustainability data, including findings from TMG’s Chief Economists research paper and a TMG/OECD joint research project.
– External experts discussions: Topics included using alternative data and emerging technologies, such as AI, to support SMEs, and open banking as a catalyst for SME financing.
– TMG presence at the SME Finance Forum: This year’s edition brought together financial institutions, fintechs, development banks, and other SME experts for discussions around AI’s transformative role in accelerating digital and sustainable trends in SME finance.
