SOWALFIN Becomes Wallonie Entreprendre

One of our members, SOWALFIN (Belgium) has recently merged with SOGEPA and SRIW.

Earlier this month, these three institutions became a single entity, Wallonie Entreprendre, which will have the mission to finance and support companies in the Wallonia region.

This merger will give the whole group greater visibility and improve governance quality and efficiency. It will also work to raise awareness of ESG principles and to assist companies in their adoption.

The new entity employs 260 full-time employees and has holdings valued at 5 billion euros. We greatly look forward to collaborating with WE, and we wish them great success in their endeavors!
