TMG had its Annual General Meeting on April 3rd, setting the foundation for a successful 2025

As it is now a tradition, this meeting was held virtually, and it provided TMG members the opportunity to discuss the overall direction of the group and take important governance-related decisions. Some of the key highlights of the meeting included:

  • Acknowledgment of a very productive 2024, and a discussion on the 2025 roadmap, including an update on Key Topic Groups for 2025, upcoming research projects, in-person gatherings, as well as a discussion on other 2025 events on TMG’s radar.
  • We also held a roundtable where TMG Members shared their top two priorities for the upcoming year, and the internal and external factors driving those priorities.
  • The Secretariat had the opportunity to present the preliminary findings of a Standby Relief Program benchmarking study to be released on the Spring of 2025.

Two other important highlights of the meeting included:

  • The addition of Viviane Mol, Wallonie Entreprendre and Hanna Akakaakkola, Finnvera to TMG’s Board of Directors. TMG members thanked Jean-Pierre di Bartolomeo and Juuso Heinilä, former TMG Directors for their tremendous contribution to the Group.
  • The welcoming of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP) as TMG’s newest member, with Andrea Montanino representing the organization as TMG’s Board member. The Group thanks Giovanni Mandras for his assistance and collaboration resulting in CDP joining TMG.

Lastly, the AGM gave TMG members the chance to officially welcome William Polushin as Head of Operations. William has already been in this role for a month, and the Group already sees his imprint in the fascinating workplan discussed for 2025.
